Wiring Loom Connectors
What are the extra plug connectors for on a Futura Vehicle Trailer wiring loom?
The 3 pin connector is used in New Zealand to install a trailer-mounted brake controller. This option is not available in the US due to different brake controller regulations.
The 2 pin connector labelled "NZ/Aus" is used on our NZ and Australian models where the charging circuit is powered by the tow vehicle tail lights.
The battery charger is fed from the tow vehicle's AUX 12 Volt connector on our US models.
