Trailer voltmeter is not working | Troubleshoot guide
1. Inspect the Connections:
Check the connections to the voltmeter. Loose or corroded connections can interrupt the power supply to the meter.
Make sure all wires are securely connected to the voltmeter and the master power switch.
2. Test the Voltmeter:
Use a multimeter to test if the voltmeter itself is receiving power. Set the multimeter to measure DC voltage and connect it to the voltmeter terminals.
If the multimeter shows a voltage reading but the voltmeter doesn’t light up, the issue may be with the voltmeter itself.
3. Inspect for Damage:
Look for any visible signs of damage to the voltmeter or wiring, such as frayed wires or burn marks. Any such damage will need to be repaired or replaced.
4. Contact Futura Support:
If you have performed all the above steps and the voltmeter still does not light up, the meter may be faulty and need replacement. Contact Futura’s customer support for further assistance and possible replacement options.
Additional Notes:
Even if the voltmeter is not functioning, the trailer’s other systems may continue to operate normally. However, it is recommended to resolve the voltmeter issue to ensure full functionality and for your peace of mind.
